Burdock & Liver Love Hot Chocolate with Rosalee de la Forêt - Podcast Interview

Nov 28, 2025

I was recently a guest on acclaimed herbalist Rosalee de la Forêt's, Herbs with Rosalee podcast!

Here’s some listener feedback from the conversation:

- This interview was so informative in a whole new way of seeing and experiencing Burdock!

- Of course an hour after listening to this interview I am sitting on my porch drinking the most delicious hot chocolate drink I have ever had!

- Thank you for an amazing Interview and for this sweet treat on our first fall-❤️

- Selima puts the relationship between us and plants so eloquently!

Herbs have so many gifts! Most of us start out from a framework of, “What herb is good for ‘x’ symptom or disease?” While that’s natural, there’s so much more that we can explore.

Burdock is no exception!

Listen in as I share how the deep roots of burdock became a friend and ally as I traversed my healing journey from trauma. You’ll also receive my fabulous recipe, Liver Love Hot Chocolate!

Although everyone’s path will look a bit different, I hope you’ll draw some inspiration from what Rosalee and I discussed about how a relationship with a plant can look and function.

I want people to explore and to see what invitation the plant is going to extend because, yes – we have all the constituents and the herbal actions and all of the science – yet none of that is going to speak to what you’re going to learn about yourself through your relationship with a plant.

I loved spending time with Rosalee and I’m excited to share this conversation with you!

Liver Love Hot Chocolate invites you to get rooted inside yourself and clear the stagnation, so you can make space and usher in the joy.
